Description: white or almost white crystalline power, odorless and tasteless, practically
insoluble in water

Pharmacological action: imidocarb is a special drug for anti-protozoan, which is
belong to a derivative of carbanilide. It can be made into a form of dipropionate
or hydrochloride and be used in a way of intramuscular or subcutaneous injection
with a less irritability. Imidocarb can prevent and treat eperythrozoonosis,
toxoplasmosis, babesiosis, giardiasis, trypanosomiasis, as well as theileria annulata
in many sorts of animals. It ss quickly absorbed and distributed all over
the body after injection, and the medicine concentration in vivo will reach the
peak in 1 hour. The drug is metabolized in liver and re-absorbed with original form
in kidney, so its dosage is small and its effect is permanent.
Application: it can be used for the diseases caused by babesia, trypanosome and toxoplasma

Usage and dosage: hypodermic or intramuscular injection. Use 0.2g more than 100kg.b.w.
otherwise use 0.1g
Precaution: after animal was injected with imidocarb, the animal could come forth
some small swelling mass (phyma) as large as a peanut, and salivate. These symptoms
are normal reactions, and fade away of oneself
Withholding period: 28 days
